Great location on an island with a beautiful park, perfect for a city break. Free parking available. Enjoyed the spacious room with a balcony and a stunning view.
Some worn-out furnishings. The bathroom could use some updates.

Very well located, within a green area and on the banks of Nabao River.
Breakfast could be better.

The restaurant here was nice and had reasonable prices, and it's a great place to stay for a night.

Every place we needed, such as convento de cristo was a few steps away from this hotel. The location was close to everything we wanted to do🙂😃👌
It was all superb.

The location was idyllic with incredible views of the castle and old Tomar city. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind. The light dinner we had was tasty and fairly priced. The breakfasts were enjoyable with a good variety of options. The hotel had a very decent wifi connection.
For us, it was ideal.

The hotel staffs were friendly and offering help and good.suggestions. The room was a bit worn down over the years but acceptable. The large balcony in our room was a nice spot to relax and watch the people in the park. No air-conditioning, but wasn't it nice to leave the blinds on the doors ajar to let the air to swirl around with the fragrance of the plants? Very nice location like a hotel with a "borrowed" little garden! Still got lots of charm!

Fantastic location, easy 1/2 mile walk from train station, two hours & approx 8 Euro train ride north of Lisbon, dead quiet at night, closest hotel to castle/convent, immediate vicinity to "old" town with local restaurants. Note: wonderful plays at castle on Sunday evening but only in Portuguese, nothing open on Monday except restaurants.

We loved the picturesque location of the hotel, situated on a small river island in the center of town. The views of the river and water mill wheel were fantastic. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the town center and all its amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay.
Nothing, all was good.

I would gladly make a detour just to stay at this hotel -- in the pleasant and nice town of Tomar. This tells volumes.

An oustanding bargain. While the rooms are a little old, they are spotless and large, with a big private terrace overlooking the park. Crisp linen. All this plus a central location, free wifi in the room, and decent breakfast. - for 35 euros!

The location of this hotel was amazing, right in the heart of the city. the public room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for hanging out after a long day of sightseeing. the hotel offered fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast which was a nice touch.
This hotel also had a lot of downsides. the TV in the room only had four Portuguese stations, leaving little to watch in the evenings.

Two members of staff, sr.José e sr.Albino, were particularly helpful and efficient and very professional. The bar needs more lighting if you want to read. Good restaurant and we appreciated the cheerful fireplaces and the food being served on hot plates and dishes which is rarely met these days. Parking very convenient.
No lift, though the staff carried our lugagge without being asked.

Service: Staff were attentive and well trained to care for all needs. Reception room and dining room both attractive, inviting. Our balcony provided views of the castle and the park in which Sta Iria is set.
Hard beds and only one thin pillow
